WoolSafe Australia is proud to present a 1 day conference for its Certified Operators. The day will be filled with some fun, exciting and informative talks and activities.
Speakers and content of the Wool Safe Program include:
Dr Agnes Zsednai, the Technical Director of the WoolSafe Organisation, from the UK.
Dr Agnes will present “The use of Hydrogen Peroxide in Cleaning Formulas” (The advantages and disadvantages and the do’s and don’ts).
Mark Lumley of the Vogue Group will present “Focus, Planning and Accountability to drive your Profitability.” Mark has a long history in the corporate world and brings this experience to the conference in a fun filled presentation. Itr will be an interactive style session and will include the following:
- Focus and planning (monthly targeting and planning)
- Increasing profitability with a focused approach
- Questioning techniques (asking for referrals)
- When has the sale been completed ??
- Going the extra yard
Rose Nation has many years of experience in both service industry and retail industries. Rose will be presenting “Creating a Fan Club of Customers” that will include:
- Effective Communication through Personal Presentation
- Using effective body language and personal presentation to impress your customers
- Phone answering techniques that will help you improve your conversion rate
- Plus a host of tips to help you improve your company’s image
Col Nation will be presenting “WoolSafe Tech Tips”.
This will be a rather pictorial and anecdotal presentation that will show some of the things that can go horribly wrong and how to deal with these before they happen, or what to do if they do happen. Many of these will be based on the experiences from the files of the WoolSafe Registered Inspectors. It will include carpet and upholstery problems from the manufacturing side of things, right through to the cleaning disasters caused by incorrect use of chemicals. Some of these will be from insurance claims against carpet cleaners and how they were resolved.

The WoolSafe Certified operator need to give their special code that will be sent to members in order to register.
Agnes Zsednai - Technical Director, The WoolSafe Organisation
Educated in Hungary at the A. Jozsef University, Szeged, where she obtained a PhD in chemistry. Worked for 4 years at the Department of Colloid and Surface Chemistry, A. Jozsef University, teaching undergraduates and doing research work. Subsequently worked for ICI Agrochemicals in the Plant Protection Division, Bracknell, England. She joined The WoolSafe Organisation in February 2002 as Technical Director and is responsible for the WoolSafe accreditation programme for carpet maintenance products worldwide.
